These contacts have a natural darker blue color around the rim. Towards the center, your brown eyes are visible. The blend from the blue outer to your natural brown creates a subtle two-tone look. It's actually very pretty but you will not fool anyone into thinking you have blue eyes. Still, I wear them when I want that subtle blue for the rim of my iris. I'm not recommending this but I actually did fall asleep wearing them and woke up with very little discomfort. Very comfort when worn as directed,
